Adoption Counseling

As a part of therapeutic services, Brooke Randolph has worked with several children that have been adopted, adult adoptees, expectant mothers, birth mothers, and parents of adopted children. While not all concerns relate back to adoption, it is important to work with someone who understands the impact that adoption can have on an individual and a family. It is especially important for children to work with a therapist that will work with the entire family and not allow him or herself to become an attachment figure for the child. Brooke Randolph has also partnered with MLJ Adoptions, Inc. to create and supervise the Expectant Care and Support Services programs.

The Support Services program recognizes that parenting in adoption often requires more of the parents, and offers support without judgment. Support Services provides the support necessary to encourage adoptive families, equips parents with new techniques and information, and empowers families through difficult times. Support Services are available to families touched by adoption anywhere. Support Services can include 1:1 support calls or meetings, family counseling, and group support.

While MLJ Adoptions, Inc. is no longer providing Expectant Care services, Brooke Randolph is still providing counseling for Expectant Mothers who wish to fully explore all of their options and have an advocate in this extremely important decision.
